COOKING

Recently, my 5-year- old cousin always complains about the food her mother makes. In fact, it is not unpalatable about the food, but she is choosy in it. So, my aunt has to make food fun to stimulate my cousin’s appetite and sometimes cooks with her together.
I think cooking is very important for children’s development. It not only can promote child’s health and knowledge development, but also create memorable family time. Through cooking, children can learn science, math, geography and nutrition.
Science
*  how ingredients mixed together
*  how food grows
*  how food change through cooking
Math
*  Counting
*  Sorting
*  Money
*  Weighing
*  Measuring
*  Shapes
*  Colors
Geography
*        Where food grows
Nutrition
Which food is healthy
